In a news release, Club Car LLC, in conjunction with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced the recall of their golf cars due to a fuel leak and fire hazard that pose a significant dangers to consumers. Club Car has received three reports of incidents involving fuel tank seams splitting, however no injuries or fires have been reported in association with this recall. The golf cars were manufactured in the US and feature a fuel tank seam that could potentially separate and allow fuel to leak, posing a fire hazard. Consumers are being urged to stop using the recalled golf cars and contact the company for a free inspection and replacement of the fuel tank.
